FITx Workout Programming
FITx workout programming is one of the most essential keys to the success of your training business. You put all your time and effort into building, marketing, and selling your program, don’t let the actual client workouts be the one aspect of your business you don’t have control of. The more control you have over what happens during client workouts, the more satisfied your clients will be and the more control you will have over your trainers. Having control not only drives revenue, but also increases the credibility and consistency of your program.
The actual workouts shouldn’t be a mystery. Prior to FITx, what do you suppose your clients were thinking: “I wonder what exercises my trainer will make me do today?” or “I hope he doesn’t make me do that exercise again”. A successful training program lets the client pick and choose what they want to do, and when they want to do it. This allows the client to self-regulate the intensity and variety. Remember, the business of FITx is to make you money. A happy client stays longer and pays longer. In most cases, the client has no mandatory need or timeframe to lose weight or get in shape. The more the client feels comfortable and generally satisfied with his or her progress, the less likely he or she will cancel or stop training.
The method and tool we provide that allows your clients to self-regulate their own training is the FITx Training Series. The FITx Training Series is a combination of seven branded workouts. These workouts include both freestyle and preprogrammed training sessions. The seven program series, in combination with the FITx group training schedule, gives the client their own personalized routine. Having your clients in control of their own routine allows your trainers to become more effective coaches and entertainers, freeing them from the distraction of figuring out what combination of exercises to perform that session. In most cases, the only reason your trainers ever changed routines wasn’t in the interest of the client, it was mostly because they were bored or just didn’t want to do a particular workout that day. Prior to FITx, workout planning or consulting with the client ahead of time, rarely transpired. The FITx Training Series corrects all those problems.
The FITx Training Series includes one-on-one, semi-private and group training. Three of the seven training series workouts are themed, but not programmed, giving your trainers the flexibility and freedom to choose their own exercises. However the remaining four of the seven training series workouts are themed and programmed, assuring you have control over what and how your clients are trained.
